TREC is excited to share our Reentry Manual, written and composed by Will Leaver in collaboration with TREC students, TREC alumni, and partnering organizations. This guide was created in recognition of the difficulty of transitioning out of prison and reentering society; its authors hope this guide will speak directly to the challenges, realities, and possibilities of reentry, providing not just information, but the tools, strategies, and hard-earned wisdom necessary to navigate this transition successfully. Through personal stories, carefully-selected resources, and thoughtfully-developed worksheets, this guide aims to actively engage justice-impacted students, empowering them to self-advocate and regain agency.
